Many famous celebrities are immortalized into wax figures, most notably found at the renowned Madame Tussauds wax museum. Though the Caribbean does not have a Madame Tussauds, that has not prevented one of our biggest stars on having herself cloned in wax.
On April 11th, Bajan Soca artiste – Alison Hinds, revealed a wax image of herself that is now on display at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (formerly the Sherbourne Centre) in Barbados.
The beautiful and well crafted art work, pays homage to the Caribbean celeb that has done tremendous work for Soca music, her country and the Caribbean. However, at the recent unveiling, we couldn’t help but notice the dramatic weight loss by the Soca Queen.
Standing side by side to her wax image, Alison looks svelte as she glows in her all black ensemble.
Alison, has always been known for her curvy body, however, it was after the birth of her daughter (and only child) that her fans noticed her dramatic weight increased. Her fans loved her new bodacious, curvacious and extra bootylicious physique, especially her male fans!
