A 21-year-old Nimeha Milien went on a first date with Donald Bernard McGee Jr., 19, and after a walk on the beach, McGee allegedly carjacked the woman at gun point.
According to a Boynton Beach Police Department arrest report, the two had exchanged text messages before deciding to meet late last week.
McGee and Milien went for a walk at Boynton Ocean Inlet Park, then waited in a nearby Wendy’s parking lot for McGee’s brother to pick him up, reports the Sun Sentinel
While waiting in the woman’s car, McGee took out a gun and demanded she get out of the car, according to police.
Milien fled to a gas station and called 911.
McGee was arrested by the authorities after leading them on a short chase down I-95, and said it was Milien who had carjacked him.
According to police sources he could not explain the .380-caliber Kel Tec found in the car or why he didn’t stop for officers on the highway.
McGee faces several charges, including carjacking with a firearm, fleeing police, robbery with a firearm, marijuana possession, and driving without a valid license.
